A Tennessee bluegrass band are set to visit Selby Town Hall.
As part of their extensive, European tour, Seth Mulder & Midnight Run will be performing to audiences on the night of Sunday, May 22. Hailing from the gateway of the Great Smoky Mountains, USA, the five-piece band are renowned for staying true to ‘old-style bluegrass’, deviating only slightly to provide a unique experience for viewers. Starting at 8pm, the highly acclaimed band is expected to keep audiences on their feet.
Selby Town Council arts officer, Chris Jones said: “We’ve had some really sensational American folk artists perform at the Town Hall over the years, and Midnight Run are right up there with the best of them! “It’s great to be welcoming international acts back to the venue after a difficult couple of years. This show rounds off our spring season of events, and it’s an absolute belter to go out on - they are brilliant fun!” Tickets for the show can be bought for £16 at the door, or £14 in advance at www.selbytownhall.co.uk.
